“The palpable imagery achieved through making references to exact events and moments from her life allows Benton to transcend her personal experiences and speak to a universal truth.”
— American Songwriter
Christiana Benton is a Philadelphia-based indie singer-songwriter crafting emotionally direct music defined by restraint, clarity, and intimacy. Her work explores vulnerability, self-doubt, and connection through understated arrangements and precise lyricism, resonating with listeners drawn to artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Adrianne Lenker.
She began her recording career as part of the indie project The Still, Small Voice, where she developed a fuller, more collaborative sound. Transitioning into a solo project, she has refined her approach into something more stripped-back and personal, while still carrying the depth and structure of her earlier work.
Her debut solo-album Better Late Than Never reflects a period of personal growth and emotional clarity. She has been featured on WXPN and performs throughout Philadelphia’s indie and DIY circuit.
